Just curious more than anything as i dont even have an xe but just wondered that on a 2 litre what is the actually acceleration difference between the 2 boxes...is it noticeable?:thumb:

Despite what people say, the ratios are slightly closer on the 16, but you wouldnt notice if you swapped them over.

Well after changing mine over it revs a high and there so more pull and i have lost top speed its lower

depends on the type of f20 and f16.

i have a f16 behind my XE, and its faster than with the f20

I've used both boxes in my nova xe. I've done drag days with both and the times were pretty much the same. You might get quicker acceleration but it'll increase the wheel spin which the xe loves to do especially in the wet!
