These arrived at the weekend as well care of Steve off Migweb who did me a great deal. They are JE low compression pistons with a 86.5mm bore. Came with all the rings necessary and a head stud conversion kit. Just need the rods from Sweden (a group buy off migweb again!) and we'll have all the bits for the engine (already have the following - hybrid Turbo Technics KKK turbo, reprofiled cams, upreated head gasket, ARP rod bolts, Z20LET oil pump to name but a few bits!)

Also got my mate Chris White to make up an insert so my quickshift gear linkage will work with my odd sized nova rear mount. All hammerited and ready to fit

    Thats it for now

Been able to spend a bit of time in the garage this weekend .

I have been trying to decide where I will be mounting the oil cooler rad as things being the grille and bumper
are going to be very tight as the water rad needs tilting forward to clear the turbo directly behind it. i have
taken an idea from Rick Draper (cheers Rick) and have mounted it under the front offside wheel arch.

I have made up some brackets and have ensured the tyre will clear the rad, however I may need to make up
a shield from perspex or the like to protect it from flying debris kicked up from the tyre :-

Also sorted out my new brake discs - the are 308mm from an Vectra GSI but as I understand they are also used on
Saabs hence the disc being stamped Saab not GM. They are 5 stud and needed 2 holes drilling and two holes
filing out (I used my die grinder which is a lot easier!)

Also didn't have to make the holes huge, just big enough to clear the stud conversion I have fitted
    to the front hubs :-
