    Default Meriva Z20LET project.

Well having trundled around in the wife's Meriva this year, I'm quite impressed with the comfort,
handling and load lugging capacity, so have decided that in 2011 I will be replacing the Vectra with another Meriva.

I have already sourced a suitable vehicle and again it needs a little work to get it roadworthy.

    This one's a CAT D write off , first registered Feb 2010 (on a 59 plate) and has done 2500 miles .....

The front part of the nearside chassis leg is a bit pushed in and it needs 2 wings, bonnet, front
bumper & bar plus a rad pack.

I'm not starting this till I have sorted the nova trailer out and as the vectra is still going strong I
'm in no major rush. It will give me time to source the necessary parts , I may try to find a VXR front
bumper but know that these are rocking horse do do rare

I'm off to Gloucester on Saturday with a trailer to pick it up and it can sit in a friends barn till I'm ready
for it sometime in 2011 .

    Joff

Also just noticed that even though its only a 1.4 16v (Z14XEP) it has 5 stud alloys.

I thought only the 1.7 Cdti's came with 5 stud?

I think they are alloys as it looks as though they have typre valves and you can see the brake caliper though the aperture ....

Yes they are the steels that are made to look like alloys with full cover wheel trims!

I've seen (and want) 5 spoke steel rims that have 'real alloy' appearance trims... very very convincing
