Allegedly the seller confirmed the £65K, obvs could be bullshit. Edd do you know someone that got a second chance offer?

And that is how you get an overpriced price for your sale.
Loads of daft/multi bids, thus enticing genuine buyers to bid perhaps a little more than the car is deemed to be worth, and probably more than they would like to pay.Auction ends,oh noes the big bids were "messers, their neighbours cat put the winning bid in etc"
Then the second chance offers are sent to real bidders, again a little more than they bid and a cars worth.
car sells for daft money.seller wins.
Not saying that's the case with this but I have heard of that happening with similar bid patterns and second chance offers way lower than the final sale.
What a waste of money. Edd are you selling yours then
Edd promised me it if he ever sells
I am pretty sure the sellers Facebook post was that a deposit had been paid. Now that could mean that the bidder, who had agreed to a sale had paid a deposit, not necessarily a bidder who bid £65k. Reading between the lines here there were a lot of bidders who didn't want to pay up for whatever reason. We can guess that the car sold for around £25k or around this figure.
This is how I know of the second chance offers
I went out one evening
Got wasted with couple mates
Started talking about the Sport on eBay
Piss ripped etc
Showed them the listing
Thought nothing more of it.....
..... Then the day after it allegedly sold for £65k I get a Second Chance Offer for £61k
I thinks WTF
I had either placed the bid wasted, or done it with phone in my pocket
Funny but inadvertently glad I did it as proves it was bull shit
After talking with others, stories of other second chance offers came to light
These are genuine
The other Sport that was listed shortly after sold for £12700.
