    Yeah to be fair they're pretty cheap and for what they are good enough!!!

    right suppose i better update this ha ha, find it hard to update it off my iphone/ipad so can only do when im on a computer

    my rocker cover gasket was leaking so decided i would cut the rocler cover baffle plate down and refit with another gasket





    fitted some rs turbo plugs to

    fitted bonnet raiser as a temp fix as my bay is getting a little warm

    starting having oil pressure problems and engine dont sound to clever but it hasn't been running long with pressure light on and only idle not driven so hopefully haven't done any damage.
    so suspect the pump as failed so purchased
    brand new gm z20let pump
    modified pick up to suit pump
    gaskets etc to suit
    8v baffle plate sump gasket
    gm longlife filter
    gm 10w40 oil
    cambelt kit
    water pump






    fitting at some point next week so will update then

    Is great fun, driven a few fast cars and nothing puts a smile on face like this does, is funny pushing rs4s, Astra vxrs and m3s up the road ha ha

    If the pressures dropped and you heard it (as in you heard a knock) you will have damaged the big ends... At least! Also your turbo wouldn't have been to happy, so that's probably has an upcoming expiry date too

    Only heard tappets taping bit more, and was only on idle so switched off straight away

    Im with will on this.I suspect more damage will be done.for peace of mind id be dropping the sump and checking the big ends clearances and condition.

    That's the plan as sumps Gotta come off to fit pump so end are coming off to check, and if there fine I'll fit new pump etc
