Hi guys how are the sri sunvisir lights wired in? Are they wired to the interior light or do they have a permanant feed so they work all the time?.

In the OE vaux wiring, they take a power from the interior light (so theyre always live but closing the flap over the mirror turns them off) and they earth down near the fusebox, when ive retrofitted them before, i always just earth them where one of the visors screws into the roof itself, few min job to install, tricky bit is running the wiring through the roof to the middle
Wire to the perm live/ignition live at the light they switch earth not live when the door opens
Out of interest as I never did this mod but did you have to pull down the headlining to fit the wiring? Probably a daft question.
No you can fish the wires across it's not that far to feed the cables
I'll never be doing it now but maybe will help if someone searches in the future
I used to use the bendy flexy stuff that used to hold net curtains up, feed that through from the sunvisor end, tape the wire to it then pull back through!
And no, the interior light is perm live so the sunvisors will always be powered, opening the door earths the circuit and turns the light on, because the sunvisor loom has its own earth, it only needs the power feed, trust me thats how theyre originally wired up
