    Yeh TVR would give 15mpg, nova more than 30mpg and nova is much faster.

    Corsa B LET

    Can build one much much easier than a Nova, most things are ready or just bolt on

    Supercharged Civic Type R. As quick as a LET Nova, totally reliable as its Jap and plenty of spares/second hand mods around for them.

    Handle pretty well and none of the rust issues you get with Nova's/Corsa's.

    Or one of the Civic Turbos thats on eBay at the minute. Might be ITRO £5~6k but a ten second running car none the less.

    I used to go and watch autograss, 2 R1 engines in a mini, that's some serious acceleration :D
