Default what a difference some memory makes

A while ago I posted a thread asking how I go about increasing my RAm on my PC as my computer - despite being a dual core blah blah blah was really slow.

Anyway - after taking "advice" from said thread I added another 1GB giving it a total of 2gb - apparantly it can take 3gbs based on windows vista home edition.

What a difference! Mega fast now and when I'm messing on photoshop it no longer grinds to a halt!

    Love it!

Nice to hear that PNG advice was taken and it worked!

Vista is RAM hungry and needs more RAM than a field of sheep. It was mega slow probably coz you were using virtual memory so it was reading and writing to the HDD. Photoshop doesn'T like to be run on the same HDD that uses virtual memory/pagefile.
