    ok, i'm soon to be getting rid of this shit sticky grey stuff. the thing is i had a quick go at the rear sr stripe on the tailgate and got nowhere. any hints and tips would be good cos at this rate it's gonna take me weeks just to get the boot done!! would a wallpaper stripper help?? u no...the ones that heat up the wallpaper with steam so it comes right off????

    heat gun from a distance on low setting - just want to soften the glue not melt the vynal. waft it over the area and it'll come off no probs.

    If yer at trax of Sunday I'll talk 2 you about it there.

    As ade said use a hot air gun on low, it works alot better then a hair dryer. Then I used Deb's Jizer(degreaser) to remove any glue left on the paint. spray it on, wait 30 seconds and just wipe it off(works a treat!)

    cheers lads, unfortunately won't be at trax
    my boss thinks it far more important that i be in work washing dishes and general cleaning.

    will let u know how i get on when i find the time to do it.
