    could be loads of things.

Does it pull left when its going straight?

when you say it pulls left going round a left bend do you mean it seems to jerk the steering wheel more?

Has it ben in a smash?

    check power steering
    check wheels
    check suspension
    check tie bars/anti roll bar
check brakes (might be binding when wheel is turned)
    is there any noises?

    Check tie bars LOL

Get the tracking checked. I recently had similar on my Nova (I did smash it) & it sorted it.
Check underneath to see if the subframe has been off aswell. If it hasnt gone back on straight it may have taken the steering geometry with it.
Easy to check too is maybe a snapped coil spring. Jack the front up & give everything a tug & see if anything is loose.

thanks lads, i'll take a look later, the front left wheel had a knock, but the drive shaft, arm and a few other bits were replaced. prehaps it hasnt been put on straight as you said, i'll try and get under it later. i know it needs new pads so that could be part of the problem too thanks again
