Just finished scraping cleaning and rewaxing this old kitchen unit to be repurposed as a storage cabinet in my conservatory. Took 2 evenings
Looking good bud
The next bit ill be tackling is my skirting and door frames. Got the whole house to do ...
Im on with a house at the moment myself.done all three bedrooms papered painted and glossed.fitted a new bath moved rads etc.got living room left to do by xmas!
nice wood
I've been playing loads with the new toy I got in July.. A lovely Festool Track saw, yes it was expensive for a circular saw but its so pleasent to use and clean with the hoover hooked up.
So far I've made the littleun a new play house, a built in set of drawers and ladder cupboard within the wardrobe area in littleuns room, made some bird boxes for xmas presents and planning a bed build for us in the new year along with a new unit below the TV to also house some speakers etc.
Oh and finished off the table I made this time last year
If you're using it that much the expense makes sense! Funnily enough my garden shed is the same Cuprinol Garden Shades purple
just being able to cut a full 8' sheet perfectly straight with almost no mess makes it worth the cost
I do want/need a shorter rail though as the 1.4M ones are just that bit too long for half sheet work... Annoyingly an 800mm rail is £40ish and a 1400 is £50. Might go halves with someone else and have a 1400 chopped
Been renovating a new dining table and chairs.....
I have just finished the paintwork in the new dining room, will be laying the laminate floor tomorrow and will start rebuilding the room on Sunday.
2016 is a project free year so have agreed to a long list of gardening jobs - mainly cutting stuff back and making up raised beds for the new veg garden.
That table looks a million times better, well done fella
