Default Do nova inner CV joints fit all small block boxes?

I've got myself a z18xe I should be dropping in this summer, which is supposed to come with a F17 box (although I cant find the marking).

Do the standard inners fit or will they need swapped?

I've got a set of r1 carbs ready to roll with, just need to get a manifold made. Was planning to use megajolt or squirt

ok. i think that part of the astra/zafira 1.6 factory manifold that looks like a good starting point for the carb conv.

Im a bit confused as to what im looking at. . .fig.1 is the inlet manifold for my engine i take it - is fig.8 the 1.6 inlet youre talking about?

Or, this style of inlet comes in 2 parts?

The zafira A 1600 16v has a 2 piece manifold. The part nearest the head would be a good starting point as it has the water raiks sorted. Yiu xan get them quite cheap off the bay. The injector holes need filling.

1.6 16v heads are not the same as 1.8 ones I had this, that's why I had to sell my bike carb setup on so you need a bogbrothers or someone similar to make you one up

Yeah, from what I can find it looks like the ports would match up but the bolt holes are different.

Dont you blank the waterways for carbs anyway?

You can disassemlbe the original z18xe inlet manifold, you dont need the lower part, than you can cut what you dont need. After that you must weld 40x2mm tubes on the cutted inlet manifold. Before the welding one side of the tube must be pressed for oval form, and cut in 45 degrees to fit perfect.
I made it in that way.

Ye exactly that 3 bolts don't even come close on the 1.6 mani plus the 1.8 head is angled were the 1.6 is no or the other way around I forget
