Default Got an XE hatch merit - PICS

Hi all, picked up a beer money XE yesterday and have to say I love it - love the speed and fun!!!

I bought it not knowing much about it apart from asking the normal rot questions, so it was a gamble, but worth it if broken for parts etc

Turns out it has a few extra bits not mentioned on advert - four to one exhaust manifold to straight through system, power cap thingy, oil catch tank, momo wheel that can pop off, digidash, shortened gear stick and quick shift linkage.

Its an early XE with dizzy as you can see, and is mated to a F20 box. The exhaust is a bit much for me, its not loud whilst cruising, but give it some beans and everyone knows about it haha

Looks pretty tidy, any plans for it apart from the exhaust?

Hi Iain, I have some R6 & R1 carbs in the garage so was thinking I might give that a go, but not for a couple months yet. I will touch up the body work which is good apart from a few bits. The main thing is that the drivers seat moves about a bit on the left side (as you are sat down) so need to sort that
