    Default which way to go

good morning well after a long few months of wondering im now ready to have the car fully painted but i was wondering when i got up this morning.

austin mini has a honda civic engine fitted..

i wonder if its possiable in having a honda civic type R engine fitted
    what would you need ??
id imagine that the body would need strengthing plates
need to build custom engine mounts
    and drive shafts/ custom exhausts

forgive my spelling too never been a strong point for me

if it fits in a mini, it'll go in a nova.

yeah pretty much everything youve said, plus

various stitch welding at the front end
    mounting points for bigger radiator
throttle cable mods (or is it fly-by-wire ?)
plumb in the clutch pipework, or mod it to cable if poss ?
a suitable fuel pump for that engine

that i can think of... probably a few more things.
you fancy having a go ?

Thats sounds brilliant yeah im toying with the idea. As I want to be different and we all know the vtec engines pretty quick.. well I think
im going to have to price a few bits first an save up for like a year but I was wondering if anyone else has done it to a nova as it would be interesting to see what problems they ran into..

the 1.8 engine would be a brilliant idea an rwd even better

as with all these ideas, you can fit pretty much anything, but you just need specially made mounts, shafts, hoses etc to get it to work. i say go for it
