Default New Subaru Remote controlled mag

Anyone seen tham ads on telly for this new 45 part remote controlled car thing?

You collect parts for a Subaru impreza and build the kit as you go!

    Looks interesting

Course I saw it and instantly thought - mmm rc car - mmm model nova - mmm MOD!

45 parts though - if theyre monthly it'll be 4 yrs almost before youve built it - and it starts at ?1.99 - prob ?4 per mag - thats a feckin lot of cash - they reckon it'll go 30mph - electric motors n all - mmm - 4 yrs at ?40 for mag subscription = ?160 - could get a decent one sooner for that price

    wheres the fun though eh?

Unless you buy one - take it apart then build it back up week by week!

?1.99 for first issue, ?4.99 for the rest
    44 x ?4.99 = ?219.56 + ?1.99 = ?221.55 :!:

Oh and it's weekly not monthly, so it'll take almost a year to get the complete car :!:

Best bet is to stick ?5 a week aside and get one when you've saved enough, cos ?220 for a RC car is a rip off!!!
I wish that I hadn't of sold my Tamiya Clod Buster and Avanti years ago!!!
