All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one PepsiFar from suicidalStill I get them tendenciesBringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
I respect the fact you would rather not use a machine, therefore my suggestions would be..........
Wash loose dirt off in straight lines, have 2 buckets(1 with shampoo, other with water) and a lambswool mitt, same process, once you have polished/protected the paint. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin.../prod_832.html
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin...prod_1350.html - use this to wash the sport
to removes bugs general greasy stuff - citrues degreaser - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/valeti...prod_1167.html
Tar remover - autofinesse(microfibre cloth to remove) again wipe in straight lines to minimise causing defects.
clay bar next - make sure the claybar is easy to mould into any shape(like a sausage)if it isnt, leave it in warm water for a few minutes until required consistency achieved,if it is too hard you run the risk of inflicting 'marring' which is in effect, putting more fine scratches into your paint. This must be used with a clay lube and dont be shy with the lube fingertip pressure is fine,a must process to remove any bonded contaminants prior to polishing(or you are just polishing in contaminants that will further fine scratch your paint). A good tip to feel if your paint is smooth(get a small plain food bag over your fingertips and slowly glide along the paint(this enhances the sensitivity in your fingertips)!

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detail.../prod_594.html - use this as the clay lube(it dilutes well,so it will last forever!)
Now regarding the polish........ you want to remove these defects by hand.........this is just an amazing products,a whole car will be tough work but the reward will be sensational.........
500ml of this will be more than enough to polish your car, absolutely astonishing product, but you will need to follow it up with another polish, reason being the nano composites in this products do remove defects, but leave a slight haze behind,so you need to refine(jewel the paint back to its full lustre) which is alot easier than the first process of removing the defects!
http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars...posite-polish/ this will remove defects(watch video)
http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars...moving-polish/ - this is the refining polish(stage 2)
you will need 2 of these....1 for each stage of the polishing. http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars...am-polish-pad/

I would recommend a good few of these products for the process, tar removing/polishing,they can be washed in washing machine without using any detergents, and to dry naturally, can be used again!
PAINT PROTECTION - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealan.../prod_912.html This product is just amazing,it will add to the final finish and absolutely protect the sports paint like nothing else, and it dosnt come at a big cost!
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/access.../prod_186.html - apply the above 'tough' coat product with this, again buff with a clean microfibre cloth.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washin...prod_1297.html - would also use this for drying the vehicle!
I hope this helps
