I fitted them in mine a good 4 years ago. They are nice seats, but a little firm and have the Jap attributes that we all hate.

I trimmed the bottoms of the rails and welded Nova sliding frames to them.

(Sorry about the poor pic, but phones and camera's weren't great back then)

Oh, and if you fit them you will notice the position of the clasp mounting doesn't hold you in the seatbelt properly.

I took some from a Metro and bolted them to the floor. Nova buckles click in just right.

The Ignis ones are ****, imo. Better off fitting the headrests to other Recaro's that actually have some bolster support and are better sculpted.

I used to have a set of half leather Fishnet Recaro's in my Mk1 from a Fiat 130 Abarth. The maddest factory seats I have ever sat in, but being 30 years old were a bit tired.

    Nice! Cool car.

That's the problem, isn't it? Age means most are in a state. Some JDM mk1 MR2's had fantastic looking fishnet Recaro's, too.

For a modern* alternative, try and find some Colin McRae edition classic Impreza Recaro's.

Having owned an impreza turbo I must admit the seats were nice and comfortable and held you well :-) loads of different styles available too

For day to day driving you cant really beat Fiesta Turbo Recaro's though (all be it off topic)

Dont think the Ignis headrests fit any other Recaros as the posts are a lot closer together.
