I'd be going straight to find some legal advise, it should be going thru his insurance, not yours, although you will most likely have to inform your insurance about it, but seek some legal advise ASAP.

I don't know what it is with nova's but I took my car to get an exhaust and they decided to drive it around the industrial estate with no permission as it had no tax or mot and was trailer up there,

Fortunately a mate seen them joy riding around the estate,

When confronted about the situation they where ever so apologetic and have me a lovely discount as I said I will be informing the police that the twoc'ed it.

I would contact the police and let them know what has happened and say the garage is trying to make you go through your own insurance when it's them who where at fault and crashed it

I did go F***ing mental. Especially when I got there expecting an apology but his attitude stank!!! Apparently he was driving, although he had no marks on his face because who ever drove the car hit the windscreen!!! The accident happened right outside the garage where he hit a crane!!! But the damage is on the opposite side to the story that he says also the crain is high up off the ground - so why is there damage low down on the car??? He's full of b***sh*t trying to get out of it. I think he's hiding something and covering for someone - I bet one of the YTS has jumped in it thinking wow Nova with a redtop I wannag go!! and hes lost it and crashed it!!! But after I walked away from him as I was loosing my temper I locked the car up and gave him the keys and he laughed in my face and said 'well its not going anywhere ha ha ha..... to that I completly lost it and said 'Is that suppose to be f***ing funny?. He then threatened to head butt me and said 'dont give me attitude!!! I had to walk away otherwise I would have put him 6 feet under!!! Fuming!!

Really gutted for you mate, there's no excuse for that to happen, as said above seek some legal advice. I hope it works out good for you!
