one of these.... I've spent 2 days fixing a sodding baler. it makes anything a car maker can do look positively spacious.. I have cuts, grazes & bruises all over from crawling round inside it.
not having the tool required for removing the head bolts from the golf. so that's the end of this weeks spannering before it even got started!!!

Taking ages pissing about with replacing an extremely noisey speedo cable on the SR. It was a new speedo cable but it fell apart when I removed it and I got plastered in grease where somebody has probably tried previously to shut it up. Found a used one to replace it but it had the top of the plastic speedo drive thread sheared off inside. Was a right **** to get it out! Other than wasting about 2 hours of my life on that it has been a pretty productive day.
Told my manager a month ago i needed this week off. 3 times to his face 4 times on the phone and by text message. He has still got me booked in to work tomorow and now he isnt answering the phone. Ffs
