Just picked up the car from the stainless exhaust spot. We now have a 2.5" system with an Irmscher style tailpipe......
Done by a chap called Len from PipeTech based in Hunmanby, nr Scarborough...

Weekend update,
Cleaned up the replacement driveshaft....
Started stripping the front hub.....
Pulled the old driveshaft and replaced the whole unit with the new one. Rebuilt and took for a test run. I'm pleased to confirm the grumbling noise was completely gone, which was the green light to give it some beans...
Got the centre console back in and finished off some wiring jobs, wired in the new fan override switch. Lives in the panel just below the handbrake...
Started building up the dash, new position for the LCD display....
And piano black trim.....
Which matches the steering wheel....

Need to get on with flocking the A pillar trims next week.

I flocked the A pillar trims last week so got on with putting them back in and installing all the dials and hooking up the feeds from the engine...
Even did a video of them when you switch on....
Today I got out the new snowfoam stuff I got a few weeks back. I tried this ....

Once dry I put on the rear badge as well...
We seem to have cutting out problem when there is less than 1/4 of a tank and you go round a corner quick. I bypassed the in tank filter when I changed the pump , but I think the filter must have a swirl pot in it too. I have ordered some more flexible nylon pipe and clips and will reinstate the filter next weekend .
Apart from a small oil leak coming from the rear main crank seal (I think) everything seems to be running well at the moment. If the seal doesn't bed in and stop leaking, its going to be a gearbox off job to get as it's behind the flywheel. A job for Easter Week when I have some time off I think.

Maybe a stupid question: Isn't the lambda too "slow" at that rear (ok, I see it's middle, but not front eg. on C20XE)? Or the Z20LET have 2 lambdas?
