    get to a scrappy, find an ecotec v3eccy and pull the loom coverings off, its that crinkley stuff, then just trim and fit, et voila, oem.

    Meh, allow going to a scrappy to rip stuff off. Will need to be cleaned etc and I can't be bothered. May as well buy new so I can get a good length of the stuff and just start using it.

    whats wrong with good old insulation tape..... 69p for good stuff from wilko etc

    Coz electrical insulation tape, starts to peel away and the sticky glue stays on the wires making them dirty and hard to clean as well as a PITA.
