    Default Tyre Wear

right i had a blow out today, my front tyres.

The wear on them is the inside half of the tyres totally gone and the outside still tread.

Just wandering if the tracking will sort this or is the wear pattern the camber?

If so whats peoples opinions on the camber bolts and i know there isnt any adjustment on the nova

Camber as yours is lowerd too much. Camber bolts will prob do it. Oh and have you had the tracking done since lowering?

    Do both.

self steering (unless you are on about tramlining on major roads) is mostly down to toe (tracking).

Find an old skool place with the dunlop mirror setup

the wear will be a mix of toe and camber

Just tracking it will not stop wear from happening on the insade edge of the tyre. I had 4 wheel allignment done after I got it lowered and new track rod ends put on. The outer half of my tyre is worn about 25% the inside about 60% coz I didnt fit camber adjustment bolts (lowered 30mm-35mm).

So do both and it will be much better. 2 for £20 is cheap tbh what brand are they? any links? Cheapest I have see are £37 - £40 for H&R / Eibach ones. Chamber bolts normally adjust upto +/- 3 degrees IIRC (the ones I have come across)

nova tek there from lmf and are on ebay

they adjust 1.75 deg going to have to have a look at hh ms and get the 3 deg ones

well the tracking is being done at 3. They cant 4 wheel align it cause its to low at the back with 15's on as the top of the alloy are tucked up in the arch.
