    Default mk2 heater dials

    does any 1 know how 2 take the heater dials etc. apart on the mk2 dash because i want to colour code them but i cant seem to work out they they detach :?:

    Yuo have to push something in the little hole and then wedge them out! You will see what i mean when u come to it!

    the center dial, pull the switch to turn on the heated rear screen, then look down left and right sides, push the two tabs inwards and pull on heater knob to slide out

    Normally they will just pull off- except the centre one, which needs a screwdriver or similar in the hole usually.

    becareful when colour coding them - they have clear plastic in them so lights illuminate - cover this and you'll lose the lights - unless thats wot u want

    cheers peeps
    ive managed to get em off now
    should i spray trhem to match the same shade of blue as the outside
    or should i just spray them any blue?

    I'd try to match interior.....Seats, Cards etc

    Well SR's have colour coded Control Knobs, so it's ok
