Going to keep everything as it came from the factory 23 years ago, then in a few years if the missis is bored of it and wants another car (she will) and i have got rid of the track car this will then possibly get SR rep/let.. Just have to wait and see.

    Default New year, new pics!

So the real work has started, today after i pick my passat up from the garage i got a text from Wyatt saying to come down, and bring my camera, so i was guessing he had been busy on my car, and he had been.

So as they say, I'll let the pic do the talking.

Drives wing thats getting replace fully.

Passengers side needs more work then first thought (i gave it a good poke and it fell apart!) so im going to get a pattern one and he's going to cut the bottom off and weld the GM one on the car now, as most of it's good bar the bottom corner.

    Cross member is sound though.

As was this inner wing area.

And the under side of the car from where the tank was removed..

Quite good for 23 years old.

    Now for the rear arches.

    Drivers side.

    Empty back end.

    Some nova parts

And the check buggers got a free plug in there too!

more to come soon, got to order the near side front pat wing, and a another rear near side skin, as he wants the lip to rebuild it now.

Nice to see an update scott, im jealous!! it looks in pretty good shape and not as bad as I would have thought now they've cut out most of the bad bits.

Be good to see it with fresh arches on.

As said good progress Scott, crossmember and rear panel look very clean considering age of car.

Good pics too, looking forward to seeing more.
