    Default emulator

    Right!

    MAME - absolutely amazing! :D

Just updated to the latest one v 0.63 but all the rom sites have vanished coz of the copyruight holders of now dead games unhappy coz some people are trying to keep their (now dead) games alive and have shut down most sites.

Whats everyones thoughts on MAME and other emulators

IMO theyre excellent - especially if like me you grew up when Space Invaders was about and other classics. Not to mention the old Atari 2600, speccy, Commodore 64, 128, Amiga etc...

    Keep them alive!

    thoughts...

LMFAO. I think the opposite. I think a forum is needed for all these young whipper snappers to talk about Britney and Christina and all the other b******s that they go on about :P

I must admit, as good as the old original games are, I prefer modern technology. A guy at work uses an emulator to run Spectrum, Atari and NES games to name a few on his pc. I prefer lovely 3D graphics these days. However some of the all time classics will never be forgotten ::

did anyone ever manage to get Bleem! or UltraHLE(think that was the name) to work properly. Bleem would run one or 2 playstation games ok, but not many and the N64 one ran Mariokart, but it never got the sound right or the colours!!
I did just give up with them in the end, so I dont know if better working versions came out or not.
