water is getting into your car either from condensation or rainwater. stick a small electric heater in the car on your drive & cook it dry, then get some silica gel granules (from diy stores it is used to keep secondary double glazing dry) & keep a pot of them in the car, it will suck the moisture out.

seeming as your fitting a heavy engine you might as well fit air con as well. That will solve the problem

As above, just cause the capetes dont feel wet doesnt mean the foam under them isnt. Any moisture will make the windows steam up.

Mine started to steam up all of a sudden. Turns out, after further investigation the windscreen I had fitted in the summer wasn't sealed properly.Water was coming in and running down the bulk head and onto the fuse box. Didn't notice til I left it out in the rain... I took it back and showed them and they've now sorted it

I had that exact same problem. In the end I found my heater matrix to be leaking. New heater matrix in now and have never had that problem again.

Think ive found the problem, one of the drain holes in the corner of the boot was blocked, so rain water must have been getting onto the boot carpet in the corners....

its a simple case of old car, increased moisture inside car and general Nova crappage!

Quick solution - go into B&Q or similar and get one of these -
