Now is this how some of you have done it? or have you done it like austin and made a template then made it from that? and whats the best way you would say to do it

I would imagine once you'd fabricated the nova arches enough to make the raldes ones fit, you might as well go the whole hog and fabricate the whole thing.

Yes but that all depends tho. but because that mostly means more metal = more weight which isnt a good thing

Yes, but more adjustment = more potential speed through the bends.

The Escort type ones will fit but with enough jiggery pokery & accurate cutting.

I got my own ones made that suited the rear end of the Nova. Its not an issue of weight, more how well they will fit & how much welding & fettling is required to get them welded in strong enough & if it concerns you, how neat the job is.

There are enough pics floating around of different peoples turret setups & I assume you will be getting someone to weld them in for you?

Its not really anything to do with weight, turreted rears are turreted rears, the premade ones arent gonna weight any less than custom ones (as long as you dont build them out of girders).

Besides more weight in the back is never a bad thing if it adds to the handling/tuning potential. a stripped nova will always have a front to rear wight ratio of about 2:1, even with moving things like batterys etc to the rear.
