Quite a few pics

Started out with a slightly rough GSi bumper:



I first cut the slat out of the middle with a saw:



And a bit more to get this:



Fibreglassed the gaps where the slat was removed (put gaffa tape over gap, fibreglass from the back to get the right shape!);





For the towing eye cover I fibreglassed it in the same way and sawed through the middle so it can be removed:



Bit of filler:



Sprayed some primer and saw what it looked like (yeah it's a shoddy filler job ):

Lick of paint (and plenty of lacquer) over the whole lot (bare plastic/filler primered before-hand:





Gave the splitter a coat of matt black:



Tidied the edge up with some rubber trim (as I hadn't sanded it down to be perfectly flat):



Also painted behind the bumper matt black:

I'm bored so you're getting an update even though I've been dossing around doing nothing

Ripped out the rear ready for retrimmed rear panels and probably a false floor


Bought/fitted a new Omp steering wheel (yes my interior is a mess )


Got some sexy buckets (awaiting delivery of Nova subframes) off Draper


And a bit of undersealing to help the car live a bit longer!
