So glad you've gone back to a slatted grille too. Front end looks great.

Do you know if this out of the gun finish? Or has it been flat and polished?

As far as I know it's been polished.
I think the engine bay may have been straight from the gun & possibly the interior, but don't hold me to that!

After a tat in the garage last Saturday its almost back together & ready for the road

First job was to fit the headlights. I had decided i was going to use rivnuts & stainless allen bolts to hold them in so a mark up, drill & install the M6 rivnut was order of the day

Seem to have forgot to take a few pics, but here ya go, all back in

Bumper, grille & lights back in & working.
Non genuine indicators & there rubbish as you can see, so on lookout for new genuine items if anybody has any.

Next job was to fit the bonnet striker & latch.
What a tw*t i was, i dropped the bonnet latch, bolt & spring & where should it land, right on the strut brace!

So annoyed with myself was the understatement! Went to the powdercoater opposite work & he does texture / crackle but its not as course a texture, anyway left it with him to do it as it cant look any worse!

    New plates came yesterday too.

All i need now is the glass from Jeffrey which iam hoping to meet up Saturday, get that fitted, fit the side skirt clips on the wings & its ready i think for a tax disc!!

Needs a damn good clean first, then first drive in 6 months hopefully

Is it the only known piece of glass in the UK nova circles anyway?

    Dont know mate.
Depends if ive done my homework correct with Vauxhall part numbers or of ive made an expensive mistake!

It should be GSI tint but without the heating elements, i suppose its what they used in the warmer climates where defrosting on a winter morning just wasnt required.

Hopefully Saturday i will find out.
