Project Winter Freshen Up

Had few hours in the garage yesterday

As its off for paint i want rid of the rear wiper as i never use it
So off with the tailgate was the order of the day yesterday







Now the rear glass, i want rid of the heated elements, any ideas if this id possible or can you get GSI green tint minus the heated screen?



Also took delivery of these last weekend

Other than Stanley blade the elements off the inside then white spirit, no! Not sure how tidy it would look after.

You can get non heated genuine rear screens but dont think they were on any of the uk cars, probably for hot countries. Also not sure if they were available in green tint, I will check EPC later when I am on the laptop

I can get after market glass with no lines. Unsure on tint tho..

Yes hoping to get to a few as long as the weather isn't as bad as last year!
Like to go to Billing, retro show at Weston Park (only about 5 miles from home) & whatever else takes me fancy at the time.
