What have you done to your Nova today?

Being that the thread is a coarse one, i'm impressed you cross threaded it (guessing that's how you damaged it) I understand you wanna fix things rather than replace them. But safety first.. Then will be alot of force on a brake bolt... I couldn't trust a helicoil.

can you get a bolt in from the other side?? if so, you could try oiling the threads & winding it in to clean up the rest of the threads.

when i removed the bolt the thread was attached to it, so im guessing not

i dont know if when i payed a mechanic to change my brakes, from std to the 256mm ones, he could have fooked something up but seems as that was 3 years ago i wouldn't have much come back now

never mind this nova is a steep learning curve
