Not really an update but today i met up with Jeffrey & Niek from Holland on the M1 and they handed this over. Not unwrapped it all yet but bits ive seen look good.
Genuine brand new Nova roof skin minus sunroof ready for its next reincarnation with 'proper' cage.
Just need to store it now without getting damaged. My dad was well impressed it will be stored at their house!!
Also picked this up earlier.
So its taxed & back on the road for six months
Excited now as really want to take it to bits again!!
Martin

Got knows how they managed to get all those bits in the back of that Skoda Superb, proper load lugger!
Who will fit the skin, you going to get Ade to do it? Wouldn't fancy that job :S
The skins are crimp welded on, are you goind to try and do it that way or just spot weld it?

Got some pics of the one Dave France has removed, so i have an idea how to do it, so probably do it myself!!
When i fit proper cage the roof becomes non structural so can be bonded back on.
Yea when i meet them the Skoda was full of my roof and Marmite!!!

The car certainly looked full when I met them, two spot on fellas, keep up the good work Martin

Was good meeting you all in person (again)! Just got home after a 1000 miles roadtrip. Niek is still on his way home at the moment...![]()

Bond the roof on with the proper equipment and It will be fine Martin. We've been bonding them for ten years or more and now have to do quarters/sills too as Its the official bmw approved method of repair. If you need the materials drop me a text and I can sort you some out no problem.
Nick.

Ah you got a skin, i really should of too.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one PepsiFar from suicidalStill I get them tendenciesBringing back them memories

This will be fantastic with a proper rollcage! Can't wait to see the progress on that.
