    na its still a good box as its been an easy going road car for 105k miles , what other box can fit on the X25 then?

    F20 or F28 is best bet really

    Picture of an alleged DTM engine there if anyone wants to spot some defining features from the block. However I was told it was a C25XE by the guy that designed it.

    The actual engine name appears to be "Cosworth KF" from the thread here: http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/car-t...fo-needed.html as obviously most of it is modified, the block however has to have it roots in a standard engine.

    thats alot of rpm

    in thoeory, if we kill the X25 can the 3.2 bottom end be used with 2.5 heads?

    I doubt it was limited back then, the later (i think?) Judd V8's still do around 10-11k though.

    cool, thanks for all the reply's guys.

    i feel the cheapest option is a crash diet, with suspension and brakes a priority, if things break we shall look into a LET conversion with F28 or perchance maybe a Z32SE

    I'd look into a flat fly as that will improve the driveability of the engine no end, and make it much more lively. Possibly C20XE one fits? Big block stuff though, unless it's over 500 and 12k RPM I don't know
