What exactly do I need of the cav? Just asked a bloke breaking one if I can have everything from the gearstick going through to the engine bay??

Yeah the shifter stick, housing and gold rod that goes to the bay & joins to the linkage.
£10-15 tops IMO.

Yeah the rod that gets shortened and straightened for the Nova conversion. Its been gold coloured on both of mine?
Just ask for the internal shifter setup up to and excluding the linkage and you'll be fine.
