No, I sprayed a coat of clear high-temp engine paint on the head. The manifold is ceramic coated

Good move, my high temp paint is holding up nicely on the head and cam housing. I also had my manifold coated and it is ace

yes, agree, coating is the only fine solutions. Got all suspension parts coated and even the complete pedalbox
