PROJECT 2 FAST 2 FAT clicky
''lifes what happens, while your busy making plans''
I wish i had the time for a nova (road) valver project,i loved building mine and miss it every day.
That paint job looks really good, crack on.
Oh that looks rather nice!!!!!
Abit more f**king about on the erm possibly 8-10 year old nova protect/task.
Got Cambelt cover painted & fitted. Strut brace painted & fitted. Alternator belt on & tensioned. Clutch cable back on. Speedo cable fitted. Fuel pressure regulator mount made & fitted up into place. Oil catch tank & header tanks adjusted & into place. Currently stands like this. Next job if to dig all the wiring out and bin what isnt needed!
Glad to see someone updating my project thread!
Ahh no worries mate. A little more sorted! All old wiring out, loom tidied up abit, starter/alternator wired up. (Turns over) which is always a good thing! Got rad in with around a 10-20mm gap to the exhaust manifold. Heres afew pics as it stands now.
few more jobs before it will run. Mount fuel pump and wire up coil/distributor set up then should fire still got quite afew other jobs to keep us busy tho
Another update (no pics tho) bonnet pull cable has been removed, aero catch bonnet clamps have turned up, 9" slim fan fitted and wired up, old injection return is now blanked off, completely plumbed up so ready for water/anti freeze, wired up coil (i think correctly) had a brown black and a green.
Ive gone brown - earth
Black - ignition live
Green - rev counter?
Is that right for the carb set up? Ive tried turning it over but dont get any rev counter movement or does it need to be 100% running?
