    Default 2.0ltr 16V Turbo

Right, I've decided to put a 2ltr 16V turbo or non turbo engine into my GSI, how much of a nightmare is this job?

    right basically you will need:

    Engine

    Turbo

    Intercooler

    engine bay wiring loom

    ECU

    modified/new driveshafts

    uprated engine mountings

    Gearbox

and will need to either fit a strengthing kit or seam weld the engine bay.

basically all the mechanics of the conversion are quite basic and should be quite straight forward what you will probably struggle the most with is the wiring. it is quite awkward as when you are putting the turbo engine in it is VERY tight around the bay and you will rpobably hurt your hands a bit.
