not yet. Design was only finalised the other week. In case people havn't twigged the credit goes to Mark (MK999) and his uni mates who have done all the work for their uni project. I've certainly learnt alot from it and look forward to working on the front with Mark. Hell, it might not even work right but then fun will still be in building & learning.

yea it will be matey learn from your mistakes and that!! hope it does work though! get stuck in and get the fabricating started mate!! want to see this done!!

Oh believe me I want to see it done! Sadly its not just a case of get stuck in, its all baby steps and a lot of thinking! Should make some good progress this summer tho. I'd like to have all the rear cagework done and assembled by the end of the summer.

Was up the shed for a bit today doing some measuring for the bellhousing/torque tube assembly. I've worked out where the new end plate needs to be welded on the torque to mate to the bellhousing. Should all work out lovely. So will drop the bellhousing off this week to have the plate laser cut to match.

Also couldn't resist cutting just a little more away!




Went to a hotrod show at Billing saturday. Was some cool stuff there. Went so Shaun could get inspired to build his chevy truck which I think it has done. Here a couple of pics of cars I liked. Sorry about my thumb on the last few!

Less mincing more saving up, could have been on a street corner earning extra pennies instead of in the shed I get paid just after PV btw, I may be looking at buying my cage then if you're still in for a joint trip up there

Yeah, a trip up there would be good. I buy just the main framework 1st then add the rear after.

As Mark as said, money has been redirected elsewhere. I'm actually off to New York tomorrow for another 5 days! The day I get back the work on a new bathroom starts. So its all spend, spend, spend at the moment.

I did get up the shed yesterday tho to say hi to the ole girl (havnt seen it in months!). Done a bit of tidying up and rder some new cutting & grinding discs. I'm off work the next 3wks so hopefuly get some time in. After the bathroom is done money will be headed towards this again.
