    Nice article mate. You say the driverside mount needs lowering, but is this only for 1.0 shells or would I need to do this with my 1.2 spi shell?

    all shells need it lowering by 1.5 inches.

    done a search but cant find anything, im going big block with c18xe soon and im wanting to use cav or similar hubs machined and pressed in nova bearings, this i can sort. The bit i cant remember is which shafts i need can i use cav/calibra etc do i need to shorten them and make a new circlip groove?

    iirc you need conversion shafts, its corsas you re groove em on. id look for gte shafts with cav 1.6 innners, fine for that conversion mate

    Default Bike Carbs

    I am in the process of the conversion but useing bike carbs got the manifold and carbs had my dizzy converted (off the 1.2) got a good spark but cant get it to run. I did have it running until the starter broke changed that now but waont fire up any ideas guys?????
