Well small update no pics as yet, but some changes of plans.
I had originally cut out the spare wheel well and was going to flat plate it but have now reverted to using one again, So i cut the rear end off the white gsi that pete was going to be using, so i tidied it all up and its now back in place ready to be welded in.
Also spoke to a guy about getting that car welded up so thats going to start around feb at some point, so better get the finger out and cut the other sill off. Had also thought about getting the shell acid dipped of blasted but not sure of either route just yet.
I will get some pics during the week hopefully

Ok folk spent a few nights at the workshop bashing on with the car, Which i hope will be going in for welding once i come back from Islay in Feb.
So quick update from now, was saying i was going to be using a wheel well now so i have stripped that and cut the old one back to the chassis legs
    some pics for ya

Then started cutting away the passengers sill, to find emm quite a lot of think lumps of something

Then a quick tip on its side to have a look underside to find this

Should be able to sort it, have to remember this is aused rally car shell and previous circuit racer also. Its just the floors been hit by something anyway

well folk major update on this shell now, its officially dead and in a few bits! I decided that after a talk with the welder that it was going to be far to much costly to have it welded, so out came the grinder and off with the roof

I decided that im going to keep the cage and use it for the next shell

Some more cutting and the cage was out

One cage, this is going to be cut at the door bars and some saddle clamps welded on

    One rear end

    And one front middle section

    This ones now officially dead!
