    Default Luke Langtons turbo rebuild

Some of you will recognise this thread from months back which was in general chat! but as I have made some good progress and have more plans on the way! I thought I move it here where it should be.
So this is where I started for anyone who didnt see the frontend rebuild.

Since my rebuild 2 years ago, I thought the front end needed a little TLC so I took the car off the road and started work! I noticed there was a little rust in the inner arches, front cross member and behind the strut! As much as I didn?t want to start rebuilding the car again! I decided the only way to do it properly was to strip everything out and fix anything that needed to be done. So I am fitting a new front cross member and front panel, fix any rust I come across and fit an engine bay strengthening kit while I am at it!
As the suspension was out I have got them powder coated along with the ARB, hubs, control arms and bought some powerflex bushes too.

While the engines out I thought I might as well do some things I have wanted to do too. But as I have only done about 4000 miles on my rebuilt engine! I am just going to be fitting a big valve head, LSD and some chrome & polished bits!
So here are so progress pics!

once I had the bonnet, wings, grill and front bumper painted it was just a case of getting it back home to refit the engine!

I started to get the block back together by fitting my cs15 head thanks again craig! I also fitted my new plastic covers, inlet manifold with chrome fuel rail and gave the block and sump a new coat of paint.

yeah thanks peester, its really been taking me a long time! but it will all be worth it in the end. I tried to get it to the PV show but I was having some problems and it didnt make it! the engine is now in and running but needs to be set up! I will post up some more up to date pics of the engine in soon.
