    Default 1.2 carb project!!

    This is my new (and first!) project I'll hopefully sort out the arches and put a good and NOT tacky body kit on it for when im 17, also will be putting in SRi interior etc. As its completely standard atm.
    Tell me what you think........paid ?280 for it off ebay in December,

    Since the pics i have done the following;
    Alloy fuel cap
    SRi clocks
    DTM mirrors
    Rocker cover gasket
    Cambelt
    Polished cam cover
    Removed pinstripe & rubstrips
    New JVC headunit
    Debadged
    New HT leads
    Given engine a good clean!

    Will get some pics up ASAP

    i like it mate nice basic foundation to build upon

    got any pictures of your archs, battery tray etc as these are common places for rust!

    back arches are rusty, battery tray is mint & so are doors. Only other spots of rust are behind the bumpers and there are no big patched really but will get some pics soon

    2l 16v brakes
    chrome bonnet lifters
    breather filter
    front show plate
    Kingdom rear bumper
    E/W & C/L kit
    New center console
    Manifold gasket
    Wire up boot popper

    UPDATE - boot popper was wired up today and everything removed ready for smooth boot, but i am still keeping the number plate recess. Pics as promised - Fuel cap

    window surrounds as standard -- lucky git!

    I wanted something a bit different to the 'GSi with speedlines look' but also diffferent to the 'Chav in mcdonalds car park look' too so i think the bumper suits it!
