Default my caylpso red merit project

Right im Jim and have a mk1 merit, which is a weekend project really. It has been hard to do any real work on it as i use it everyday. As its easter and the weather is nice i decided to get my finger out of my **** and do some work. So after work today i went to halfords and got me some paint, and am planning to do by bumpers and skirts in matt black. The primer is drying as i type this. Plus little dave kept winging ablout me not having a WIP thread so here it is!!

    As she stands....

The doors and wings are looking a bit worse for ware so anyone willing to donate will be rewarded hansomely.

    Cheers Jim

Right back bumper is now black and looking sweet, front bumper is lying in primer at the minute, spoiler has been sprayed black but is not sitting righjt so will need to be re-fitted soon. Will get some pics up soon.

Why not load up the website he has just suggested and have a damned look yourself?

    The Nova looks quite tidy.

i got mine second hand, they are universal iirc but mine had previously been on a nova, it was in good condition and was 40 pound deliverd, unfortuantly for me the bore of the exhaust was exactly the same as that of my standard exhaust so it had to be welded. The exhaust i have now is a 1400 exhaust so the box now fits fine, doubt if that has done anything for the performance though
