I mentioned on me introducing myself that i had a w.i.p reshelled Gte.
Below this are some of the pictures ive taken on my phone.
It started off quite good realy i found myselfa 1985 breg 1litre with only 2 previous owners and 49000 on the clock.Money changed hands and we struck a deal.Next day i started to strip it to a rolling shell and find those nasty bits that needed welding!! It was reasonably ok needing the back corners of the boot floor welding up and the corners of the cills at the front im not a welder by trade im a mechanic but not afraid to give it a go!! A big advantage of this project was having keys to the garage and being able to take on something like this there.My boss was ok about it as hes building a mk1 escort.Strut tops and other notorious areas seemed pretty good for a 22 year old car.I then bought a g reg gte with 70 odd thousand on it off ebay,the shell was creased at the back and rotten into oblivion.A write off basically.
Ive strengthened the engine bay by stitch welding along the seams and will have a strut brace on it aswell.Shes going to be white and looking standard with a cherry bomb exhaust!! THanks for looking will post more pics the further on i get.

Having problems putting them on here as im not very good with computers anyone else had similiar problems??? please help!!!

nice, good to see more novas poping up over hull, im from beverley.

for pics, go to www.imageshack.us and up load them and where it says direct lick copy and paste it into the img tab when replaying or creating a new thread
