    Default 0hms resistance.

0hms Resistance law is what this thread is about..

    Basic Example

    Amp1: 800 watts max @ 2 ohms
    400 watts rms @ 2 ohms

    Sub1: 800 watts max @ 2 ohms
    300 watts rms @ 2 ohms

    Amp2: 800 watts max @ 4ohms
    400 watts rms @ 4ohms

    sub2: 800 watts max @ 1ohms
    400 watts rms @ 1ohms

basiscly will the first amp1 n sub1 work? if so why?
Will amp2 and sub2 work if so why if not why?

Am a little confussled over the ohms i know it is eletral resistance...

do i need to match the ohms as well as the rms or close enough?

    thanks in advance

As long as the sub will drop to the same ohm rating as the amp then it will work okay. For example amp 1 and sub 1 will work fine because they are both rated at 2ohms, however amp 2 and sub 2 wont because the amp wont cope with a 1ohm load. Various different ways of wiring things will also adjust the ohm rating depending on what type of sub it is, Single voice coil or Dual voice coil also how many you plan on running. Post up a bit more detail about the equipment you wanna use and i'll tell you how to wire it.

Neither are particualrly great. Why do you want 2 sets of front speakers?

Save money on buying loads of speakers and get just one good set of components.
