Right, ive got no interest in power gains here whatsoever, im just wanting to know wether an SRi cam will fit and work in an SR (1400cc)

AFAIK it will fit in the journals fine, only thing to check it the shape and position of the drive pin on the end. Check also that it actually has the extra lobe on it to drive the mechanical fuel pump.
from the info ive got this SRi cam has got five lobes on?
I would hope it has 8 lobes (8v) tbh
SRi's had dispack & dizzy so that might be an issue for finding out if it fits.

early sris has a dizzy
I have a dispak 14se cam and its the same cam as a Dizzy one.
It has the pin drive dizzy end plate.
BUT im pretty sure it doesn't have the fuel pump lobe, cant remember, its up the loft.

Ive got a GTE cam sat here in its housing FS cheap.
hey if u use an injected cam make sure the lobe for the pump is hardened coz if it isnt ul end up rubbin the lobe away, i had the same trouble pug 106
