Default WIP my nova snap (long term project)

Since everyone is doing WIP threads i thought that i would jump on the bandwagon and start one for mine.

Not much is going to be happening to the car on the outside as i like novas the way they are. the only plans are for a splitter on the front bumper and some vents in the bonnet.

Inside the car is undergoing a full stripdown and replacment of pretty much everything exept the dash.

Enginewise i am undecided at the moment but the main idea is a 1200 with a 1400 SR carb as i already have the carb here.

The car is going to be lowered 60mm but i havent decided on what alloys she will be dropped.

She is booked into a bodyshop for the beginning of november to have new sills, arches, some work on the passenger door lock, doorshuts resprayed, 1/4 panels resprayed and some welding under the bonnet.

Anyways here are a few pics of the car so far to show the areas that need work

    Now for the rusty bits

As for the sound system i will give you a liitle hint, no headunit just this

Right now as some of you may know from other threads i have issues with the paint, well today i washed it, then clayed it and them used the mequiers 3 stage system on it cleaner, polish and then wax. i think it came out pretty nice, here are some pics.

it needed doing really, the car hasnt been polished in a long time and the paintwork was ****, so it needed to be done for when it comes to him matching the colour.

Got a new drivers door today, it has a small amount of rust at the bottom but its easy for the bodyshop to sort out when it goes in. I spent all day getting sticky ****e off but its all done now.

Got a new splitter aswell which i trial fitted, it needs some chopping about but it looks pretty good.

I will get some pics up tomorrow as its dark now.
