Help with seat splitter

I've just got myself a new seat gti front splitter but I'm having a bit of trouble fitting on to my mk2 SR bumper.Does anyone know how to fit it on in detail as I am not much good at modifying bumpers.Any help appreciated

by any chance do u know the part number for it cos all of my local seat dealers aint got a clue about what i need.

just drill and use self tapping screws start from the middle and work ya way to the back just cut of the ends when ya done easy really

I could also do with the part number for the splitter, also out of interest how much did it cost?

Cheers for help. The part number is 6K0805903E. It costs ?25 including VAT. I got mine from Seat in Leeds.

Forgot to add, is it best to take the bumper off to fit splitter and if so how. Cheers

you shuld find the main bolts on the inner arches. I think they are 13mm ones and if you stick your hand under the arches, feel along the inner arch and there should be two bolts. Do the same for the other side. Then there are bolts (smaller) on the inside of the outer wing, take these loose and hey presto!
