    Got them from Opel Classic Parts in germany when I was getting my doors. They aint cheap tho!

    ah, so it is part of the caliper house etc aswell, oh well, will just try getting them sand blasted and coated, if they survive!

    Probably best, I think it was about £120 for the two backing plates, and over £45 for the new rubber slieve, pins to hold it in, and the metal cover (for the handbrake thing to slide on)

    Here come's the broken record again.

    No engine yet, No dash yet, and no topmounts yet. So I commisioned a spare set of topmounts for the meantime because the garage was in bad need of a cleanout.

    So I fitted the front coilovers, tie bars, knuckles etc and rolled the car out of the garage

    Coilovers, and lovely shiney paint!





    Rear springs fitted.



    I can even spot some red pearl in the paint, lovely!

    Looking more like a car now!









    I Dug out the original 1985 numberplates from when I stripped the car, I actually think they look good!

    Exhaust looks massive! Bigger than I thought it did! :D :D





    Hopefully i'll eventually get my Dash back, the interior will be early June, and the engine shouldnt be much longer.

    not fond of the boot mate, at all

    but the rest of the car is absolutely stunning, glad to see her coming back together so well!

    That colour really does look fantastic in the light. What size of rear springs are they? 80mm?
