Stuck for parts!

Just been down to Halfords to try and get an Uno wiper motor, Daihatsu wiper arm and blade. Guess what? The only part of those that they do sell is the blade. I cant find any shop (in my area) that sells the parts! I cant even get em from the scrappy. Any one have any other ideas for a single wiper or am i goinna have to buy one ready made? P.S do i have to cut the linkage if i use the uno parts?

Use the standard linkage and cut 8mm out of the center t-piece and weld it together. It is miles smoother than the mono style one, and does not cost anywere near as much!
